I am an advertising professional, graphic designer, and art director with 20 years of experience working across visual communication, branding, and creative direction. I currently serve as Art Director at the Municipality of Guayaquil, where I develop projects at the intersection of strategy, citizen behavior, brand identity, visual culture, and public space.

Throughout my career, I have collaborated with brands and institutions including H&M, Vans, BIC, Masamadre, Absolut Vodka, Quitofest, UN Women, Claro, HBO, Miramax, SanDisk, Norton, and Siemens, alongside a diverse range of local organizations and cultural initiatives. My work has also been presented through exhibitions, publications, catalogues, conferences, and design biennials across Latin America, Europe, and Asia.

Poster design has become an essential part of my practice since 2017. My work has received the Excellent Award at the IPBP Nanjing International Biennial of Poster for Peace in China in 2023 and 2025, and in 2020 I was nominated for Best Poster Design at the Havana Film Festival for the Ecuadorian film Gafas Amarillas.

My international experience includes participation in the International Illustration Congress (Fig. 01) in Bogotá (2011), PechaKucha Nights #8 in Bogotá (2011), BICeBé — Biennial of Design and Poster Bolivia (2015 and 2017), the International Biennial of Poster for Peace in China (2023), Poster Biennale Lublin in Poland (2023), the 11th China International Poster Biennial (2023), Peru Bienal (2024), B.I International / Poster Art Biennale in South Korea (2023), and BICM — International Poster Biennial in Mexico (2026).

My practice moves between art direction, branding, illustration, and visual communication, with a strong interest in how ideas, identities, and cultural context can be translated into meaningful visual systems. I am currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Strategic Communication and Corporate Image, expanding my practice through a more strategic, ethical, and identity-driven approach to brand building.
